In the comment section everyone is talking like they have never done anything before that they really regret alfter. I mean, I'm not justifying anyone like what alfeas did but the thing is like we are human and as human sometimes we do really bad and stupid things thinking they are the smartest ones.
What alfeas did was really wrong, yes i agree he could have done it another with his intelligence or understood more his wife calmly, and anyone here have the right to feel that it was wrong too but that doesn't mean that we as readers shouldn't try to comprehend the whole situation instead of just pointing fingers.
As i said before, we are humans and we tend to do foolish things thinking they are the right ones and only after the output do we realise our mistake and regret badly (somes are able to stop themselves before the output and there are other that doesn't even feel sorry after)
