Aint gonna lie, Eunho is the way he is caus of the dark haired dude. As he literally said in the beginning, he showered him with all THE FUC**** LOVE HE DIDN'T DESERVE, and the only thing Eunho deserved is to be tested like trash and just abandoned him. Now imagine your first and only love treated you like that in such an early age even though you're totally sure of what you feel. Ofc he turned out to be much colder and meaner, he was fuc**** hurt and couldn't understand anything. Alright so I haven't Personaly read the novel, but as far as I've seen, small bean does escape with the general and all that, but I think he ends up dying and the prince kills himself too XDDD so much more tragic. The after escape that was described in the last 10 chapters is a whole lot different in the novel
