@Stardust i'm not an expert at this but it cant be PTSD as it is a recurring event. He's basically repeating the same trauma and if you add the fact that he has different experiences leading to this point, it's like having a new trauma all together. YG is approaching the scenario from a different, more privileged position compared to his past life and I think it affects him more with the return of past events.
