Im so sorry, but to that one person in the comments, what was Brixton supposed to do. Yeah he's an ass**** that probably built an entire empire that hated people with magic so he could isolate and gastlight Brian's recarnation into this unhealthy relationship with codependency issues, and basically groom him into trusting him and only him, now that I write it he is full on ass**** but still. I'm tired of pretending Jack has rights to Ian because he was his lover in the past. Idk how to explain this, ik I might be wrong and sh**, but for me Jack's feelings towards Ian are fuckibg icky because no matter how I see it he is projecting hard! They don't see Ian as his own entity but as someone they need to have. That's it, if u asked both of them what they like and love in Ian they wouldn't answer because they both fell in love with the idea of Ian and him being recarnaition of someone not because they love him. Man that's why I have such a mixed feeling about these kind of stories, because it always ends up about the person of previous life and not the identity the character molded in his own life and own effort. Urgh, I know it's not possible but I wish for Ian to find the third option where he fall in love with a person who sees Ian as Ian and love him for him and not for someone else. Both Brixton and Soleite need to improve urgh because for me they on the same level, it's just Soleitw is painted in the better light because he didn't literally groom Ian
