As much as I hate the MC, he's hurting a lot from what we know from the story. He was never really the brightest to begin with and with their shi*** explainations of what is right and wrong throughout the beginning of the story when he had no idea just like Gobi, he was used for what he had in his pants and then fell in love with s** as he had more and more ample opportunities to have it. He's a terrible person, but everyone who effected his view on s** and interpersonal relationships honestly are just as bad if not worse. The entire story is full of terrible people, one of the only good ones is Gobi.

Just let the author do what he wants, as long as it's tasteful and doesn't detract from the story romance is a welcome part of any action manwha.

No Worries, it was written very roundaboutly. I completely understand getting confused, I only caught it because I read a lot of Chinese to English translated mangas and have gotten quite proficient at decoding what they mean.

Well there are multiple names, Cult Interrogator and Heresey Inquisitor to name just two off the top of my head and they have been referenced as a male in the english version and has been confirmed to be a male using the chinese raws. Either way, major possible tsundere or yandere type.

the only time I would feel for this woman is if the mc made a big deal about all those love conffessions being fake at the end and humilitated her and ruined his reputation. But since he quietly stopped, fu** that woman for being a giant egoist di**. It would be different if the MC was an actual ass****, but he's a nice hardworking dude and this bi*** passed him up because she was too self important.
