@Gazni to sell it. This was very common thing for peasant women to do in in Europe back in the day. The rich Noblewomen will buy the hair for their fanciful wigs and stuff.
This practice is not so common in Europe anymore but still done in parts of Asia and Latin America where women who are less off sell their hair for money.

This is like me reading nothing but romance slop for years, read my first Battle Shounen & be like " the whole manga/manhua/manwha world needs a full reset. Too much romance related stuff on the internet rn. Could use more of these action fighting series."
