Okay so I only wanna talk about Yikyung's relationship with Han Kiseok, also how Dawon feels about it yk. So Yikyung wants to resolve sht with Kiseok bc he influenced his love life, and how he viewed relationships. Like he said in the novel "Han Kiseok was someone who greatly influenced my life–my romantic philosophy in particular." So bro literally would only date ppl like Kiseok after.
SO what I think is happening is Yikyung wants to resolve his previous relationship with Han Kiseok BUT!! he also wants to be able to love Seo Dawon without thinking of Kiseok or how he influenced him yk. But heres where it gets tricky, okay so Yikyung asks Dawon “Do you think Han Kiseok never liked me? Not even once?” Which makes Dawon think cr** like "omg does he still like this dude?!?!" And that Yikyung still has lingering feelings for Kiseok. So Dawon says “That’s right. They’re just playing around with you.” So Dawon is ofc justified to say this, I mean if my guy was still interested in his kind-of-ex I would be pssed too.
BUT!! Thats not what Yikyung meant. HE wanted to hear Dawon's opinion because he TRUSTS Dawon, and the reason that Dawon saying "He's just fckin with u" pssed Yikyung off so much is because HE VIEWS KISEOK AS A GOOD MEMORY. Yikyung sees him as someone who made him who he is today, he was Yikyung's FIRST love. Yikyung still loves him, but he loves him as a memory and he wants to move on for CLOSURE.
