My boy needs therapy so bad

I like the story so far but if I'm being honest the Mc looks pretty basic/plain compared to the other characters he doesn't have anything that really sticks out, if he wasn't the main character he would seamesley blend into the background with side characters. The idol industry is pretty superficial when it comes to looks and that's a fact so I'm not surprised he came in 8th place for his first time line.

I've come too far so now I have to see how it ends, but honestly I don't wish reading this bl on my worst enemy. There's so much to say but I'm gonna try to keep it brief, this story is utter garbage given the fact I've read multiple bad/horrible Chinese bls like this BUT THIS ONE takes the cake in my top 3 hot garbage Chinese bl manhuas. The author has to be some type of deranged to torture their main character this much with no salvation in sight, MC cannot catch a break for 2 minutes, he has only a handful of people on his side willing to help him, and they end up getting caught up and having their lives threatened. The ML has no redeemable points and he needs to kick the bucket because it makes me absolutely mental knowing he'll end up with the MC probably still even after all the bs he's done. TBh I can't hate Gan rui bcz he's smart & has his own motives for his actions. All in all everyone in this story deserves a tragic end 0/10 stars don't recommend.

Atp Gan rui can do whatever he wants just as long as it doesn't effect Ranran but there's no way the author is gonna let Ranran get through this unscathed

The art is so unique I like it, also the story is interesting. It's low-key been a long time since I've seen this type of originality especially with all the cookie cutter copy and paste webtoons out there including the artstyles.
