@Khusshbu Raajput Korea and Japan have a big issue with S3xual 4ssault/r4pe being normalised/not taken seriously, I feel like that might be why it's portrayed as less serious or even normal 😔 Also very conservative, and that might contribute to it being even more prevalent in BL (there's a lot of that in straight ones too), due to misconceptions/lack of knowledge, masculinity-norms and stereotypes, etc.

@JaeDeservesBetter You can't walk around and r4pe, 4ssault and just generally treat people like they're filth, without consequence, just because you have a tragic backstory. It can be an explanation as to why someone is fcked in the head, but it doesn't excuse it.
Also, most things he's done "for Dan", he actually did for himself, it helping Dan's situation isn't really relevant to wether or not he's a good person or deserving of a never-ending winning streak

@Y-LIGHTSABERS-BIGGER It's part of the plot twist, being relevant to the plot is in the name. Google character misdirection 😢 Like I'm really not trying to be mean now or say it's the biggest deal ever, but that is what this is. Just trying to explain. Some people might not mind, wich seems more common with BL readers on this site, maybe because there's so many young people? Idk? A lot of people do mind though, better safe than sorry.
Also, if you reply to a comment it's not weird for them to reply back, and trying to explain is not weird either. Isn't that what you're doing too? 😶

@Y-LIGHTSABERS-BIGGER I wouldn't say I'm pressed. I was a bit annoyed at first but after that I've mostly been confused by you not getting it and trying to explain. English is my second language, maybe the way I wrote that came off as way more rude than I thought it would? Sorry.
But yes, you're supposed to initially dislike her/think she's a threat. The author used a common literary technique called character misdirection wich is part of a plot twist. And yeah I've read it, that's why I know that.

@Moe People have been doing that in front of mirrors as long as full sized mirrors have existed, and they've been writing about it the whole time too. I can promise you that it's not a reference. It's just something people like. He**, I've done it too 💀
@Y-LIGHTSABERS-BIGGER You do realise you're supposed to dislike her and think something really bad is about to happen, right? Like it's part of the storytelling and something that's done on purpose, lmao 😭
