Albert doesn't "look" like his father — he IS the father. or rather, there's no "father" at all, it's just Albert, there's only one of him. and he has a fuc*** up memory. and all these "illusions" and "imaginations" he keeps having are just bits of his memory resurfacing, like something trying to fight its way to the surface of a frozen lake. maybe Asha wiped both their memories for whatever reason, or maybe that is the actual curse of the mansion — people forget, hence the "distorted" faces.
