Honestly even I felt that the kiss in last chapter was a bit rushed in that moment of vulnerability where they weren't confessing rather showing how much care for each other's well being and how one needs to get back on their steps etc etc a heartfelt hug would have been lovely. Just my opinion

I am kind of taken aback from the mc's reaction in this whole situation and clearly his partner is not behaving normally over that how come he seems all prepared no matter the case and even if he is exceptionally trained why isn't trying to contact the HQ through him ?
