Whike everyone is swooning, I don't like this at all. She is practically being forced to leave her carefree life as a guard filled with freedom to go live the life as an empress and someone's wife.

Going down this path she'll no longer have the freedom she currently has. She would be expected to live the very restrictive life as the empress of a nation, an elite noble, the emperor's wife and also turn from living her life as a man her whole life to that of a woman.

Her whole identity would change. And the emperor even admitted to knowing he is clipping her wings and this is making commenters happy? What about this is good? She will have to give up do many things and her freedom to be with emperor and what is the emperor giving up to be with her? Nothing at all.

That is why I perfectly understood her hesitations at first to be with him. So, this does not make me happy at all. It just reminds me one of the reasons why I dropped it a few years ago.

@Jaime Griffiths that's not healthy at all. He'll force her into the empress position she didn't want at all while telling her he is going to make her quit her general position. That completely fuc*** up. He only is going to carve a space enough buy still force her into somthing she doesn't want. And he is refusing to treat het normally like he used to. He is just doing whatever he wants using the emperor's authority to force her. That's not healthy at all.

@BOOOMBOOM yes, he absolutely does. He was suspicious for a while and been keeping his eyed on her reaction for quite a long time anf the revelation of her true identity while she was asleep confirmed and solidified everything for him.

@Sigma_ I don't because it eluded in the earlier chapters that she is a bi***. Especially to her servants and people serving her. She only puts on a sweet face for the emperor to gain his attention and affection, but she isn't sweet or likeable at all. I suspect the emperor already knows this which is why he has always been cold towards her because he probably knows what a two face bi*** she is. She only wants the title as empress which is why she is trying extra hard. A person like her doesn't deserve the title of future empress.
