For real... Like... No one is loveable here.
I just-
Like... I like them OK. They're good characters, there's some complexity shown here and there.
But that only means I like how they were made.

I don't like the character in themselves, I like their appearance but oh man I hate them morally.
Now medieval stuff holds different kind of beliefs and stuff, equality and such is rather foreign to them but I still hate their guts.

I might be a maso***** at this point to continue on reading a story I just HATE. I JUST HATE THEM SO BAD. WHY IS THE STORY IS SO GOOD WHEN I HATE EVERYONE IN IT.

If you talk about how he teleported back to his og world. 

My answer would be that since he ate another marble he accidently didn't control his mana control and actually achieved his goal to teleported back.

If you talk about how he want back to his restaurant world, 

Then my answer would kind of be the same.
He knows the theory of his teleportation, all he lacked was mana storage and strength, now that he knows he can do it. He can now freely teleport back too.

I'm gonna guess ml is much younger than we think?
Since he ate the marbles and heart and stuff.

Also that since he is said to have been a famous mage yet no one recognizes him apart actual species that are known to live LONG lives. Then it probably means he's much older than we think.

But that'd be weird too, I mean. It's weird he only retired recently and honestly the flashbacks seem more recent than my assumptions (the 20-15years flashbacks in other chapters...)

So all we can do is wait for now.
From what I see tho the dwarf seems to not be the one we actually know? I dunno, the name doesn't sound right to me. I'm dumb at remembering names tho so I can't tell.
