Finished it, cried like five times, loved it, but, in the end the other dude never gave up which makes me feel kinda sad for him but alsp not because he's a stalker, but overall i loved it

I have a theory, basically i think the second prince wants to keep all the 8 unit people in check for war, but they need time away from war when it ends, they also need to be taken care of so they probably don't k*ll themselves, so i think that's why they have Ceres memorie's locked because he's really needed and so he needs to be desensitized every single time but so he also stays loyal to the second prince, also why others from the outside can't know he's from war because then they can't repeat the cycle.
