This story is actually super realistic . I get why people are like omg the mc is so annoying blah blah. And yea in a way he is but it's so real in terms of the fact that bad habits are hard to break. He's depressed and he only continues to make it worse by staying or getting with people that mentally and physically abuse him. And then the one chance  he gets at a meaningful relationship, he goes and ruins it by returning to a piece of cr**. Then he belittles himself constantly telling himself this is what he deserves and therefor the cycle continues. It's like a battle of depression, you can never escape it, you learn to cope and clearly he has unresolved family issues. It makes sense why he gets into these toxic relationships because it's what he grew up with, maybe it's even comfortable for him

Seeing this update makes me have hopes that mad dog will update soon
