Ok I know this is like the bare minimum and jaekyung is such an abusive douchebag....but I thought he was about to be meaner to Dan and I was pleasantly surprised at the interaction between them. of course, ourbaby boy Dan is being accused and being treated wrongly but is it so wrong of Jaekyung to be upset about the situation like at least he just walked away? Like that's some character development, a while ago he would've acted physically and emotionally aggressive.
please don't get me wrong, I hate him but yeah these are my thoughts
I am so happy he's not a female.

Wow. There is a lot of mixed emotions and a bunch of complicated storylines. This writer is very good at creating these complicated narratives for the mother and son. I hate when stories like these situations, where a parent leaves or betrays their child, is overly simplified.
the mother is clearly mentally ill and needs more help than what she was receiving. While she did love that woman, I think she was also trying to find any escape from her depression. So her crush soon bloomed into a romanticized bond inside her head. It was only going to do become more unhealthy and may create more damage if she stayed.
I think her leaving that situation was understandable, but I'm still very much conflicted on the son and father. How is the husband supposed to know any of this? Then suddenly to be abandoned by his wife and left with all responsibilities of their life and child. I feel for him, even if he wasn't a great husband. No one deserves to be abandoned. Id like to know his background as well, like what made him be that way like noncommunicative and angry? But regardless, the biggest victim of this clusterfuckk of a story is the MC. He definitely did not deserved any of this pain and suffering he had to go through. His mother regardless of her pain, should've been there for him too. Same goes the father, even if he was put in a tight position, you need to be there too. Situations and emotions are not an excuse for poor behavior, especially when there is a victim involved, even more so when that victim is only a child.
