@Gojosfeetsmeller the black seal and the girl are close. Why else would she care enough to do something so stupid? But yeah, I agree that the author could've written her background story in a better way bc the pacing did feel off

Some of yall comprehension skills ais worse than mine. There is a CONNECTION. She felt different bc her family circumstances were out of the ordinary compared to her classmates. It made her feel isolated and lonely. When u feel like that, all u want to be is normal so ppl can love and accept you. When she saw the black seal kiss another man which by her standards and unfortunately many others is "out of the ordinary". Fearing that the small village they live in will reject him, she intervenes in our two male lead's love life.
