When you read the novel you will start like Chase more and more. 
Josh too, he is sooo badass and amazing.

Josh and Chase's dinamic is amazing and refreshing. Very diferente from the usual tropes in ABO universe.

It was extremaly disturbing. At first I really thought It happened, so much later on that Grayson reveals to josh that it didn't. I was so relieved...

Basically his brother doesn't feel emotions and believes that he was helping Chase. There is something super wrong with his head.
Chase crazyness is nothing comparing to this. 

I know it is difficult to believe, but Chase is really cute and innocent.

He was heavily abused by his family, especially his brother. He was beaten, thown into a chimney, had his arm broken, manipulated and so on...
In his First rut, he took strong medicine to control it and lost his memory. His brother convinced him that he had s** with a fuc**** dog (crazy...), traumatizating him. He hates being an Alpha and dont value his own life. He takes insane amounts of medicine to make his life less painful, almost killing himself everytime.

He doesnt know much about s**, Alpha and omegas. MC was the FIRST and ONLY s** he had ever had in his life. He was isolated and poorly educated as growing up, so he couldn't be anyless crazy than he is now.
