🙄if we read in between the lines, he's with that creepy b**d to protect what could be used against MC as an assault charge. Alternatively, he simply has lost all hope and doesn't know how to get out of this anymore.
The author is simply bad at explaining things.  Here's a tip, if you wanted to maintain the mystery, instead of that stupid kiss cameo, you should have randomly shown both of them together, let the readers guess. But no, you decided to add a scene where Jaehee didn't even resist. That's a huge blow to his character.

Either the translation is at fault or the author genuinely doesn't know how to work a story. The character development is all over the place..their conversations randomly jump and it's way too rushed.
