But because Aeroc was a high-ranking noble and acted cold and awkward, Kloff misunderstood his behavior and thought Aeroc was mocking or looking down on him. Out of pride and insecurity, Kloff started acting rude and distanced himself.

Meanwhile Rafael  was kind and straightforward, so Kloff chose him because he felt safer and less humiliated with him. So Kloff’s feelings didn’t suddenly switch — it was mainly misunderstanding and pride that pushed him away from Aeroc. 🌹
