@SLOTH Fights were more interesting without Haki, Logias could only be fight with their counter (water with Crocodile, rubber with Enel) We had Rokushiki as techniques to upgrade normal fighters.
Now, if you dont have Haki, you are useless. Logias are not special anymore, if you have Haki, you can fight them like anyother fruit user. Ever with enough Haki you can counter anything about fruits, like Trafalgar did when he neutralized the Shikku shiku no mi.
And now everybody has conquerors haki because yes, power spiking even more. So, One Piece had this original thing about devil fruits, making you incredibly powerful with a cost. But who cares now, if you can have Haki?
