Spoilers ⚠️ I'm re-reading this again and I have feelings Horus will probably get serious injuries against his fight with Osiris or to protect seth and eventually end up at brief of death .. this is only my interpretations but I'm sure 100% Horus will awaken and take a hold to his full powers and kill Osiris for good this time. 
My theory is in s3 he'll search why gods lost their memories when they became gods or how to regain back memories of demi God past.
I also believe Horus had a past life and seth got rid off him in his past life as son of Nut and Geb.. isis saved his soul with her magic,but remember guys these are just my imaginations.

I guess he regained his instincts in the temple of time cuz he was connected to it from his past life? As a son of nut and geb (Horus The Elder) maybe if he awakened he'll get his memories of his past life
