My theory is the 'demon' with no horns isn't actually a demon but our MC.
I know sounds strange, the reason I think this is because of what the sword spirit said when our mc used that attack during the arena fight, she said it was something similar to what demons use.
I don't particularly know why our mc would become the demon lord but it would have to be something really tragic, like perhaps everyone he loved and cared for died horribly again even after he managed to become the 'hero' he wanted to be.
I had a feeling he'd bring that up at one poin
