I know Ray said that he had a clear mind, but I don't think that's true. Because there is NO WAY that this man is going to be sitting there and acting like she was the one with a closed off heart! Who was the one who had to apologize to someone who spilled a drink on them because that person wasn't looking where they were going!? Who slapped who? Who never owned up to the shi*** treatment they put the other through and apologized? And who didn't start caring about the other person until they could "use" the light spirit instead of caring for them simply because they were THEIR OWN DAIGHTER!!!!?

I know I read this and screamed FINALLY but I actually like the pace the story is going. I like that they gave time to have her overcome a lot of obstacles and grow into being a boss. Perez was always around, but romance wasn't the main focus.

I think she needs to tell Ray everything. They need to sit down and have a discussion where she tells him how she always felt, the things that happened and how it ended. I am not sure how he will initially react but I know he would forgive her and I think that's what she needs the most.
