Ok, so I think I really should just get this out here after reading all these comments saying how jaekyung is being mean and all that. Now, I'm ain't sideing with him but I difently get where he's coming from. And before y'all come at me, just hear me out. Now like one of the commenters, I do think that jaekyung is not wrong, and that he's being perfectly reasonable with wanting kim dan to focus on his work and not wanting him to waste his money and time trying to get him a gift, that he doesn't want. Now I'm sorry if I ain't wording this right but, what I'm trying to say is that jaekyung is fine without receiving any gifts or things he deems unnecessary, even if one is trying to show they're gratitude to him, just like Kim dan did, because all he wants is to focus on his career and doesn't want others wasting their time and money on him. And just think of it this way, if you were trying to focus on something really important to you, and you hired someone to help, you most likely wouldn't want them to be distracted with trying to repay you if you did something to help them, and for jaekyung, in his eyes, Kim dim is already repaying him and showing how grateful he is, by doing his job right and constantly. and that's all he wants from Kim dan.
Now, he could've told Kim dan in a different way, instead of yelling at him. But all he wants isfor Kim dan to realise it and not get distracted from his job. And this is just my opinion, but I do think that Kim dan should really try and act his age and get a grip on things. Especially since he's been through a lot. Though I don't expect it to happen right away. People also need to realise that sometimes you have to be blunt to get things through to the other person so that they understand. Though again, I also don't really agree with most of jaeekyungs methods, especially when they have s*x and all that.
