For someone working in a low-key private (rich) household, I can a test that the secretary literally does everything our Boss wants. 

Some times I envy people who are in mainland China, and born as Chinese and living in that country since they can buy (and READ without needing for translation) and support their authors buying merch from them directly, meeting them. And getting the merch on the spot! But I'm also thankful I'm not there because I'll be broke as he** and living on ramen noodles everyday for it. 

This is the situation: I was hired through an agency.

6 months later I properly notify my employer that I'll resign and  that I can stay for another week or until the end of month until they find someone else. But before the next week came they message me that I don't need to come in. And they'll let the agency know and they'll talk. I asked the agency if I can still be paid and the said yes and I should asked the employer about it. They the employer said they'll talk to the agency. 

Now I asked for an update about my salary to the agency and they just seen my messages.

So moral of this lesson is quit AFTER receiving your pay.
