Is like petrol to us today, yeah we found out that there will be concequences decades ago... but the convenience on that point became necessity.. and unpluged the system was to hard than to just simply let it be and we begin to make half baked solutions until now that we were on a ebullition point...

@otterlyanylitical As far as he said in the begining of the chapter, he thought she being ignorant of their business was safer, but now that he thinks she is a genious he want to teach her a little.
Is not that weird if you think that she will not inherit the ducal name and the family business (as she is being married to the king family) and she will not need to know such risky knowledge...

and there was not a fight or anything... he simply forgot that we (me and my brother) didn't know...

@otterlyanylitical well, I grew up untill my 19 without knowing I had 2 uncles and about 10 cousins because my dad "forgot to tell us about it"....

she is one of those woman that can never acept doing something wrong, so it was really hard to her accept she comited excesses and lost me. But I understand that she didn't mean harm, it was just how she is... in fact, being far away (I don't just leave the house, I transfer to another state so was really hard visits or reunions) help us restore dialogue. I'm too far away for her to try impose something on me.

@Random cockroach yeah, that was about 20 years ago, i made my life independent of her. She had to deal with the guilt of seeing her son left her, she latter realise waht she did but relations were never the same, we still talk but there is always a barrier, scar remains...

@Random cockroach never underestimate a angry woman, my teenage years my mother did similar to me because of her divorce and because I didn't take sides.....
God, how I wish someone just had said something similar to my mother on those days....
In the end, I left my home, and she had to live with the guilt (thought it ws one of the reason it was not the main motive I left home) of losing her child (because Latin mom Drama)....
