Wtf why did the story randomly add a new character?

Usually when a manhwa ends i feel bittersweet, if it was good or annoyed, if the ending was rushed or straight up trash. This one i felt nothing. The ending doesn't make much sense to me and i still don't think the ml deserves mc but whatever I'm just glad its over

I guess he's mad dangwoo and ml have secrets he isn't aware of, despite ml claiming to like him he never opened up to him like mc did...?

God this is frustrating. How long is the author planning to drag this? Let's wrap it up. I came here expecting some great revenge story and got slapped in the face with some mid lame a*s storyline that keeps circling around. I'm just excited for this to end already.
