i have a feeling that things might take a toll in future chapters. the ML clearly has PTSD from the whole stalker issue so when he finds out that MC has been Neu the whole time he might take it the wrong way and it could cause a whole misunderstanding!! 

my guess is that Jigstar/ML (or wtv the name is) will tell ppl from the guild and everyone will turn on Neu except for maybe 1 person who will hear Neu's part of the story and try to defend him! (if that makes sense)
but just a hunch!
