I've read novel
So I'll tell you what i understood about him
his partner was pregnant with his child and he didn't died normally he died a very painful death.
And when he found that arloc was behind it he beleived that arloc told those b@stards to 🍇 his pregnant partner
He went crazy and focused only on arloc's distruction
But through out the first life it was like a mystery about whether he truly loved Raphael or not because the author didn't focused on that part
But we can say that or maybe it was implied that he got with Raphael because he was omega
And about him being more distressed on arloc's death from my pov it was because he experienced same thing twice
First Raphael died like that than arloc and another reason was that he finally understood that arloc was not some monster that he imagined

I think that
Both paid for their sins in their last lifetime they have done enough redemption in previous life
And this life is more like a true second chance

From my pov in this life he is trying to avoid committing the crime (even though unintentionally he did let those animals rxpe the pregnant omega)
And while trying to avoid that he got involved with klopp again and his feelings for him came to surface again and this time they are mutual (because no matter what, klopp was the only person that aeroc loved in the previous life even though he didn't know how to love and even though that can't be called love but for him it was love. We have to remember the fact that the household in which he has grown didn't showed love and maybe be he didn't knew feelings even as simple as crying)

@Moon_coochie if klopp suffers then his suffering would result in aeroc's suffering also
Here only aeroc remembers and klopp doesn't
It's like aeroc is trying to make this life work
And from my pov if both remembered their previous life then this life would also results in a revenge story
