@Baek hyun woon Yeah man, Junwon and the MC came straight out of the same garbage bag. And honestly? Whatever sympathy I had for the ML went straight down the drain, because I’ve met more than one person like that before — a bunch of flies that love flying around sh**.

@Panino Hold on now! Who’s even saying this is cute? The ML can’t stand the MC so far, and honestly, he has every reason not to! The guy goes there to help his parents, and the MC keeps practically eye-fuc**** him. The ML makes it very clear he doesn’t like it. And the MC keeps pushing anyway. At this point, it’s bordering on sexual harassment!
And that’s not even getting into the power imbalance here. The MC is literally the restaurant owner’s son forcing himself into the ML’s space. “Oh, but the ML could’ve refused.” He DID refuse! He just couldn’t get rid of the MC!
The fact that the MC switched positions just so he could sleep with the ML doesn’t mean the ML owes him anything. And he’s not even doing all this because he genuinely likes the ML. He’s obsessed with the ML’s body.The ML never asked for that, and he didn’t even want to sleep with the MC in the first place! The ML doesn’t owe him affection, respect, or anything else!
And the ML doesn’t even know half of what an ass**** the MC actually is. If he did, his behavior would be even more justified!
“Oh, so the MC has to get on his knees just to get the ML to talk to him?” Honestly? Yeah, maybe! The ML isn’t obligated to like him!
So far, the MC is a trash character. He treats people nicely until they fall for him, then gets annoyed once they actually do and pushes them away. He treats everyone like objects, he’s egocentric, and he has zero empathy.
“But he’s going to get character development.” Okay, but he hasn’t yet. So right now? He’s still an ass****.

@Cupid You do realize that “this MC isn’t even half as bad as most MLs people seem to love” isn’t really a valid argument, right? The people who dislike this MC probably dislike those other characters too. And the people who enjoy these kinds of characters are obviously going to like this MC as well. But the readers who are frustrated with him have every right to voice their opinion too.
But hmm… maybe there’s just something missing from this MC that makes it hard for people to empathize with him enough to stick around for the character development? Maybe it’s the specific combination of flaws that makes people unable to connect with him? I personally don’t like him. I’m mainly reading because of the ML and the small appearance of the MC’s friend at the beginning. But who knows? Maybe with more character development, I, and other readers who currently dislike him, might eventually warm up to him. Who knows?

@Cupid Will he, though? I mean, have you actually read ahead and seen character development, or are you just hoping he’ll eventually get some?

@YAMI So when exactly does the “comedy” part start? Right now I’m just watching an annoyance-to-lovers story.The only reason I haven’t dropped it yet is that it already has 41 chapters, but depending on what happens next, I might not even read up to the current translations.
