I wonder if it was just plot convenience that the Saint knew the attack was going to happen and replaced her brother, or if she has some kind of clairvoyance... or maybe she transmigrated into this world too? And did she really run away because of romance, or was she actually trying to help her brother? Because their older brother apparently made some kind of deal with him since he needed him to take their sister’s place. Are all the MLs’ fathers going to be villains or antagonists? At this point, the only one left is the king. Watch him turn out to be terrible too!

So... my guess is that this was either written by a beginner who’s still learning how to tell a story, or by AI. The attempt to build tension just didn’t work. It raised questions about the ML’s mental health, but none of it was handled very well, so instead of coming across as troubled or complex, he just feels kind of emo. And it didn’t really answer anything either.

But hey, at least it didn’t jump on the whole confinement arc trend, so that alone bumps the story up to a 7.5/10 for me!

I’ve been side-eyeing the prince ever since is revealed who he really was. I wouldn’t be surprised if he turned out to be a little manipulative.

So... was that really the whole point of the ball? With the whole “dance three times” thing, I was expecting the third dance to actually matter, and it never even happened. Julia making a scene because the FL danced with her lover didn’t happen either. And where was Julia’s husband? Was he not even at the ball? This all feels really rushed, like they just skipped over half the story development.

Did I miss something? Am I not understanding something? How did the dress fit the FL’s mother, but now it’s so small that it wouldn’t even fit Will, maybe not even Hugh?

Wait, what? The High Priest is that weirdo who was crying over the boys’ saint costumes and performance?

Wait... is it just a coincidence, or is the FL the saint? When Will shows up dressed as the saint, someone says he perfectly recreated the figure from the legend, and his eyes are red. The FL has red eyes too, plus those mysterious dream powers that seem to let her access the past?
