I think what I'm getting from the plot is the MC's conflict with his genuine feelings. He keeps fighting his emotions and because of that he ruined the life of someone he likes. Just like the film's script being changed last minute ruined the movie, because of the MC's decision to change his fate ruined his life. He should have stayed honest with himself and maybe he could have created a beautiful ending just like fate had written
