@Abri (duskq) I'm not sure about this manga but traditionally and historically speaking it the same irl. Look at ceo families, many are broken the same way. Dad's only for them either financially or to copy the dreams to kids. Mom feels to either protect herself or to please the husband,  they don't have a close relationship. Some theses things are traditional as well. But not not all but quite a few are like this.

@Mira I wonder if when the blood sec attacked her and took the kid that the blood sec put her in to a sleep state that she could now wake up from. She may not have realized at first it was a dream. Correct if wrong. Just me thinking 🤔
