I see all these comments on why she just dosent stand up for herself, or why she dosent chose to just not be abused. And to be honest its not that simple. Our lovely mc here was emotionally scarred and abused basically all her life, ALL HER LIFE. It ruins a person mentally and flushes their sense of confidence down the drain. The thought of getting away or standing up for one's self dosent come easily at all to them. Either they recieve a severe emotional shock to get a reality check or someone is there to help them gain a bit of sense of worth. Make them feel like that they are not worthless and that the person abusing them is doing wrong. Thats how an abused person can get out of this sort of situation. They can't just hop up any random day and decide that "oh yea today is the day I bomb my abuser!" Its not like that at all. No hate to all the ppl saying this! I understand how annoying it is for the fl to be stuck in this situation absolutely powerless 💔
