@This Charming Man Rather than confidence, I'm embracing my destruction lol. I've had enough with being restricted. I used to have long thick pin straight black hair, it was below my waist long. But I never felt like myself with long hair. and after my grade 12 exam finished , I cut it upto shoulder length, it was a bob cut. and I had to hide it for 3 days until I couldn't and was scolded so bad.(But they got used to it ) And after a month or more of having it, I cut it into wolf cut, but it was longer than intended, but I left it at that to cut it later(there wasn't much of a diff cuz I had pin straight hair and it was thick af). and today I cut it short(with my longer hair at back tied(which I made thin), it looks like pixie cut) and I looked exactly like a man, and my mom was furious. Waiting for permission never works, I would rather get beaten or scolded and despised than be inauthentic and keep hiding my true self. I've never been more happy and at peace with myself than ever. Sure, it's tiring living in fear of possibly being beaten(it lasts like a week) but they surely get used to it .

@Asher Yeahh, whatever I look masculine without any makeup but I can look androgenous with some makeup on my eyes and a natural lipshade. (I can ofc look feminine too with lots of makeup and accesories and all that, though my body posture to habits all are masculine)

@Cupiyo Well, I live in nepal. It's a country where the opinion of the society matters alot. and girls are literally expected to have long hair, be soft spoken, shy and silent in nature. (I'm none)

@yeonjuneie Cuz girls with short hair are not traditional and not well liked in society. And she doesn't want her pride to be affected.
