@defnotkia I see where you're coming from and yes he is still in school but in his final year. He was 17 in the beginning but i'm just hoping and assuming that at some point he turned 18 (it's pretty normal to be 18-19 in the final year of high school for japan). it's still a bit iffy so i do agree that it's a bit strange, but i think the story becomes great once he leaves school and is working full time as a 20 something year old.

@Nakyumyum um cousins are not just through sisters? there was a scene later on that shows her mums side and dads side arguing over what they would do with her. i cannot remember which side mls family was on - but they are 100% cousins and ml says that throughout the series

@Nakyumyum after reading, she is his cousin. she was adopted by mls family cause  her family died in a car accident
