I like seeing the backstory of them. It is a filler in different way and it makes the characters more human honestly. He hit rock bottom and now he is trying to justify in his own way. Even though what he is doing is injustifiable, that makes him look more human rather than a character. I like seeing him more than the ML, which a character I don't releate to and feel no interest in.

@Seiryuu They are all really forgettable honestly. The one who acting like a human for me was the one who were working as a s/x worker who helped MC to rescue Haesoo. Even as then I remember her saying MC was a handsome man. Author does not wan't to work on the female side characters.

Author LOVES making every other women a pick me and swoon over the male leads. What a load of bullshit.
I wonder how long it is going to take for the detectives to even act upon the searching. These chapters have been very very stretched and repeated that it's making me lose interest.

Did I missed/forgot or all the other woman characters have a personality of a cardboard: jealous, lovestruck to male leads or insufferable? It's getting really bothersome, literally two woman in the first panels were only to praise ml and say how unreacable he was for the 'normal' people. They literally have no proper humanlike thoughts.
I also want to think the revenge is not only for Kael but also Hestia herself and the normal living people who suffered losses in the hands of backstabbing church and especially Diana.
Hestia is still in the mindset of believing this is a book and nothing more, so everything is a bit black and white for her. But Kaelus has a personality of a forgiving, loving man as he never had a thought about revenge, when Hestia is driven by her determination of the revenge. Their personalities clashing down is fine for me.

What a pushover and not respecting boundaries. He is not suited for her and she deserves better, background fangirling school girls are much suited for her. Her brother and prince are pieces of garbages. 
I am sure she can take a whole army by herself at this point 😭😭
