I love that this comic doesn’t take the predictable route.

any other comic would have never had the ML show up and she would have made a decision out of fear and manipulation and misunderstandings for 70 chapters.

this was awesome. That guy overheard and went and got ML immediately, and even though she still made a decision out of fear, she saw him fight for her. And holy s*t he is going to burn everything to the ground for her. 🩷

So, in sense & sensibility, Marianne dashwood forgives willoughby for abandoning her for miss grey and wealth. I believe she says something along the lines of “would he be happier? He’d have a wife he loves but no money…” basically implying love isn’t everything and being poor sucks.

with that said, it's horrible what he did to her, but if his intention was to marry elsewhere for money, it sucks, but it's understandable. Life is complicated, and it seems he is better off: he's now a lawyer and wealthy.

but the fact he's coming back and seeking her out now? GTFO of here. You don't get to do that.

I love that she doesn’t back down! A more “typical” FL would have run away to protect her heart or something by now.

You know… a few chapters ago I gave her a pass because it felt like it wasn’t really her fault that she just saw a guy, thought he was hot, and went for it.

But then the creator had to make her into a nasty, uppity monster so... time for her to go. 

Her friend has more sense than anyone else is this manhwa.

I don’t really get a lot of chemistry from the couple. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m thinking I might be dropping it.

she's really only annoying because she's not our FL and is being inserted into the story to be a hindrance. She's not our enemy, really, it's the aunt and uncle. She's just a girl who saw a hot, angry man and has probably read too many romance novels like us. : P

Immature of the bodyguard. Maybe the girlfriend is secure enough in their relationship that her boyfriend can value other women as people even though he’s taken. it doesn't take away from her that he has other women friends he treasures. What are we? 12?

I love that they didn’t drag it out. Make FL cut her off so she doesn’t hear the name and then misunderstanding ensue.
