i choose to engage in my reading this way and although a person never has to agree, I don't think they need to dismiss other readers, or make them feel smaller. They choose how to engage, and maybe next time, they'll make it kindness or at least add to the discussion in a shared space instead of negativity. : )

@veralol they really do have the same stereotypes. It gets a little boring.

Even some manhwa that are like, there's one where the FL gets "ugly" blotches in her skin and I'm like, dude she still ain't "ugly". Or like you said earlier the lame ones where it's like the character starts off as heavier is the usual "unattractive" easy grab for manhwa artists and they get thin to get hot and it's like, nah. Please don't foot stomp those standards, artists

@veralol I won't sit here and say I don't love my hot characters. I'm not against the leads being attractive, I'm just against shaming characters for not being as much so. As if to say because the main characters are hot, they are somehow superior. It's toxic.

and yeah the amount of stories where the FL is like "well at least he's hot/rich" like what? That doesn't excuse bad behavior, and yet the reality is we do let it slide. People gonna people, doesn't mean we shouldn't strive to be better. They need to read Cursed Princess Club.

@Roqa I'll check back every ten chapters and then read the end. That's what I usually do to comics like this that I was so emotionally invested in and felt such betrayal. Haha

@milena tomic after 99 chapters, having it basically blow up in your face, I'm just kind of over that comic.

its a great first like 85 chapters but I just can't have my time wasted anymore on artists who milk a story, and characters who don't grow. I give all the credit to those who have the strength to want to carry on reading these manhwas.

@Roqa We'll never know because he was never given an option. She took away the choice by lying to him in the last chapter and in general not talking to him.
and it's really hard for me, based on her actions, to say she cares about him. She's been incredibly thoughtless and selfish. At least I can tell be actually loves her, and he's grown as a person since the first chapter, where he was the selfish one, and I don't see any indication as to why you feel he wouldn't protect her.

again, you don't have to agree. At the end of the day it's a comic and I'm just not enjoying reading it anymore. /shrug

@Psychopath huh? That's not what she said at all. She said that he was persuing our FL and when he "struck out", he'd go crawling back to her. Our FL and him weren't dating. She had a crush on the guy, and he was basically keeping her around to satisfy himself while he set his sights on FL.
theres nothing wrong with that and she's not a bad person. I think you might have something confused, or maybe I do? Is this girl in another chapter I don't remember

@Psychopath how is she a pick me girl? A pick me girl is someone who poses herself as "not like other girls" to gain attention from men.
if anything this girl put up with that guy basically using her as a back up fu** when he couldn't get a date with FL. I feel kind of bad for her.

@Nyaa yeah we've flip flopped so much and iseop is the only one who has any development. Which is why it's so sad to see her hurt him like this, he's just gonna close himself off again
