@Honey dolly honestly, it would be strange if he did save himself. He's been used as a tool practically his whole life, manipulated and abused and his loved ones used against him. Physical trauma is one thing, but add on the mental trauma and its practically impossible for him to feel like he can save himself.

@I love cutecore i interpreted this as the tattoo the guy sketched after they went to bed, was his first tattoo, which he had already done on his mentor previously. Meaning that even after they went to bed, the guy was thinking of his mentor and his tattoo inside of glasses guy.
