Okay so my theory, is that the story of Hercules mortal death is foreshadowing their relationship. There are probably going to be parallels with Hercules and Deianeira's relationship and Yoo-gon and Jung-hae's relationship.
I have a feeling that just like how Deianeira tried to improve her relationship with Hercules and accidentally caused his death, the same will happen with Jung-hae accidentally getting Yoo-gon killed.
And for sure, the step-bro is going to be involved and play a huge part in that.
Praying that I'm wrong rn😭😭🙏🏾🙏🏾

also it wasn't Nessus that poisoned his clothes by accident, it was Deianeira; Hercules' lover. She smeared Nessus' blood on Hercules clothes for the love potion to work. it didn't lol.
