This was a good read. Was the relationship between the leads toxic and codependent? Yes. Could it be a baseline for a real relationship? Absolutely not. Good yandere glow-up for both characters, and we even get side stories at the end. Some people may consider the story to be dragging after the main storyline ends. However, it's more so the author finally getting to write about the characters as a "normal-ish" couple for once.

My only gripe is that the author did not know what to do with Juhyeon after she played her main role. Having her move to another school seemed unnecessary, especially after reconciliation with the FL. She disappeared from the story after the time skip and was brought back for small scenes, but that's it. They never got any side story or character development in the slightest. CHOI SORA, the sidekick, got a side story, but not the complicated character who literally carried the plot in the first half of the story.

Also, this may have been unintentional, but Author-nim somehow managed to curate "Yuri vibes" between FL and Juhyeon. There were some people speculating that maybe the reason she held her grudge for so long, along with added scenes after the time jump, was because she liked FL all along. I swear, the reason Author-nim ditched Juhyeon's side story was because they knew it would feel random and out of place if she started dating a guy, seeing how FL-focused she was and that she even dated a guy just to get back at FL. Otherwise, she showed no interest in any men whatsoever. FL was always the only thing she seemed interested in or cared about.

Justice for Juhyeon.
Y'know, I thought this size dynamic looked familiar, and I was right. The art style is heavily inspired by an early 2000's yaoi manga called Okane Ga Nai. If you look it up, you'll see what I mean immediately.

Also, WHY is no one talking about the art upgrade in the later chapters??? Yes, the art style at the beginning is...questionable. But it really does get better the further you go on. The plot so far is "yIkEs" but in a good way if you've ever read psychological thrillers.

If you're a fan of early 2000's yaoi art styles, you'll slowly grow to like the uke's bright eyed design (in the later chapters of course. The earlier art was on a different level...I swear it was a marketing stunt to bring attention to the manhwa 😂😂😂)
11/10!!! I'm back here again for another re-read!!

Also sidenote: I noticed that the character designs and concepts look almost identical to the FL's in Akiosketch's Heartworker...
Jinx
Sucks big time
Genre should be changed to psychological horror and rápe.
