Beautiful story, both the mc and ml are reasonable people, both are handsome and there is a love triangle but only for a minute. Not a lot of angst but you'll find a bit of it here and there if you're sensitive. Overall it is excellent coz there's no 'elephant in the room' (very obvious)kind of things to dislike but it has a couple of plot holes and the first few chapters show a series of continuous events but later on the events are spaced by decades. DECADES!!! Which makes the story feel kinda passive. And we never realise WHEN they develop feelings for each other, the feelings are kinda not there in one chapter and there the next. It could have been a bit longer, to explore every dynamic of the story better but even like this, there were no loose ends. I personally feel like the entire reason for all the conflict happening in the story was TOO exaggerated and then resolved VERY easily. It just took a lot of time. And the death of the mastermind. Who was also not a bad person at all. You'll find it very difficult to hate anyone in this story, everyone has their own situations and very good reasons for the things they do.
Bottomline is, it's a very good and comforting binge read but it's not smth you can take seriously and invest time in, expecting some great payoff.
