Anyway for all you thats we're condemning the mc in the beginning  this is exactly  what she was afraid of and trying to avoid. Having her son tangled up in the royal family's power struggle. Loving him does not benefit her son and as a mother she needs ro be able to make a definite line in the sand should she ever need to make another difficult  decision for his sake.

Did the author  extend the story just so it would be ok for the characters  to get intimate? I dont think this story needed all of this
