I honestly find this type of jealousy to be so exhausting. 
She is her own person, and in a respected position, shaking someone's hand is not the end of the world - Veramood's jealousy really only shows his insecurity and lack of trust in Sigrid (an adult). There are things Sigrid doesn't understand fully, but that isn't an invitation to treat her as a completely oblivious child. She's new to romantic love, why is Veramood such a prude about her interacting with other ppl - _-'
