first of all, i had a bit of a hard time understanding that uhmm the thought is kinda all over the place... but if you're disagreeing with my comment then....ahh well, i don't really know how to respond to that. i was just expressing my opinion on it.
i enjoy romance too, actually. i read a lot of it, and i don't think there's anything wrong with looking at a story that way. if something feels off to me, i'm gonna say it, just like if something feels good to me, i'll say that too.
i get that fiction is full of fantasy and idealized situations, and i've enjoyed plenty of stories that don't really make sense lol. i don't need a story to be realistic to enjoy it. i just don't think enjoying something means i have to switch my brain off completely.
sometimes it's fun to reflect on why something makes you feel a certain way, whether that's positive or negative. that doesn't mean i'm attacking the story or saying it's bad. i was literally just sharing my first impression of chapter 1

my guess was right?🥲 while reading before, it kinda clicked to me why the title was "Hope You're Happy, Lemon"..coz i was like it's gonna be Sunao saying that line, right? wishing her happiness coz they won't end up together...honestly, fair. I'm still a Lemon fan, but Sunao and Kogahara's relationship were getting too real and cute🥲 and there was this chapter (i can't remember what chap) that basically foreshadowed that lemon was gonna lose😔
