also, the plot i had in mind was much more interesting than the one that actually unfolded. I thought this was going to be like Mad Dog or Half of Me where the ML actually orchestrated his own arrest so that the MC will be chained to him because of the guilt. 

Nothing half an interesting happened in this comic.
