I came here to see if anyone commented on the art but since I didn't find much, lemme tell you just how absolutely blown, flabbergasted and taken aback I am with the improvement in art. It was gradual but very obvious and it's sooooooooooo obvious in this chapter. I took a while to read it (wanting to marinate it but failing anyways) AND GOD****. I WAS FLOORED. FACE HITTING AND TEETH CLACKING. THE ART IS SO FUC**** GORGEOUS???????? ofc the art before was also so fuc**** good but WOAH???? THE SHEER AMOUNT OF RENDERING AND LIGHTING AND ESPECIALLY THE QUALITY???? THE HAIR????? WHAT THE ABSOLUTE HE**. THE ART IS EATING SO BAD I'M GENUINELY ABOUT TO SCREAM AND CRY IT'S SO FUC**** GOOD AAAAAMAKSHDHEJWAKNSDJKSLAKSNSK yeah thas it from me. Tbh her entire personality doesn't match the sh** she's been through. There is a limit to torture and it traumatizing you but the thing that comes after trauma is insane vengeance and rage. The fact that she's still meek n weak despite the supposedly "thousands of years of torture" doesn't fit.
