IMO, Mer had EVERY right. He was the best male lead, and just proved it. She obviously was letting him slip away in the first place, slowly forgetting about her day 1. He harbored dark thoughts because of this, but instead of staying and ruining everything, he knew his place and left.or maybe i'm delusional and i can't believe the only sensible male lead is gone
