Why do authors use the same template over and over again?

The new armor made by a blacksmith in a medieval-esque world looks so ... a**. It's really out of place. I get it. it's an "upgrade", but Jeez, couldn't you make it fit the theme a little more? Also, why is his belt not threaded through the belt loops? I digress...
TL;DR: They arrived and MC uses a bit of Qi. Tune in next chapter to see everyone be surprised at his use of Qi. The following chapter, we will see the dragon turtle. The following 2 will be preparations for subduing the dragon turtle...
The art is good, don't get me wrong, but the chapters are too short for the pacing of the story...
The previous chapter held me by the ba*** and this one squeezed. I'm thoroughly disappointed...

Why must every character that changes their identity make their name so similar to the previous one? Jun Bufan -> Jun Fan? Is there some kind of unwritten rule that all authors follow? It's almost as stupid as putting on a pair of glasses and no longer being recognisable to your own parents.

Oh, the classic "Villain blames the Hero for something that the Villain himself did so that the Hero loses focus!"
Tune in next episode for the "Hero doesnt want to waste his mother's sacrifice so he finds the strength to say "No you" to the Villain and turn the tide!"
ok art is cool but even in home alone, the kid has to build up courage before he can say "I'm not afraid anymore!". Here, as she says it, BAM. Courage achieved! Lazy writing but i'll stick around for the art
