Ofc a sane person with a self conciouse mind will choose to follow the book plot, why? Because this is not her world!!! And please before you criticize her, please try to put yourself into her shoe, I mean like empathize with her like imagine you are in her position that have her knowledge, her character, her mind, everything. you will do the same thing like she did! please you know everything and you mad at her because you are a reader who knew everything from idk 3rd person?! This is a good story, but you must be patient with the building plot in the beginning or maybe the plot in general. It is hard to understand, too many things that happened and yet there s 0 information. And the answers to all of your questions, will be answers with in the plot it self.
